Sea of Galilee
Day 1 - Departure from Cleveland Hopkins airport to Tel Aviv by way of Newark.
Day 2 - Arrive at Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv to meet your guide and driver and travel to Nazareth for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 - Visit the Basilica of the Annunciation, the homes of Joseph and Mary, and newly uncovered childhood home of Jesus. Head to Cana where Jesus performed his first miracle changing water into wine at a wedding. Travel up to Mt Tabor, the traditional site of Jesus' Transfiguration. Go to Nof Ginosar (Gennesaret) for dinner and overnight for the next two nights.

Day 4 - Begin at the Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes, then Primacy of Peter where Jesus ate breakfast on the seashore with his disciples after the Resurrection, then to Mt of Beatitudes where Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mount. Explore the center of Jesus' ministry -- Capernaum -- the Synagogue where Jesus taught, and Peter’s House, where Jesus lived. End the day with a celebration of the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

Day 5 - Visit Magdala, the village of Mary Magdalen, with one of the most important archaeological finds in Israel of the last 50 years. Head to Bethsaida where five of the apostles grew up. Relax on the beautiful Sea of Galilee with a ride in a fisherman‘s boat. Enjoy an afternoon retreat in Ginosar.

Day 6 - Leave Galilee, travel to Quasar El Yehud, the site of Jesus’ Baptism. Visit Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Have lunch with Abraham and ride one of his camels at "Genesis Land." Travel to Jerusalem visit the Mt of Olives and Dominus Flevit where Jesus lamented over Jerusalem. Walk the Palm Sunday Path, from which he made his Triumphal Entry. Pray in the Garden of Gethsemane. Arrive at the Jerusalem hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 7 - Venture to the Judean hills to Ein Kerem, John the Baptist's hometown, and Church of the Visitation of Mary and Elizabeth. On to Bethlehem, Jesus' birthplace, the Milk Grotto, and adjoining Shepherds Hill, where David was born and tended his flocks and the angels announced the birth of Jesus. Meet with Hebrew-Speaking Catholics in Jerusalem to hear of their incredible bridge-building work.

Day 8 - Go to the Upper Room where Jesus celebrated the Last Supper. See the permanent display about the Shroud of Turin at Notre Dame. Visit St. Anne's, Mary's childhood home, and the Pools of Bethesda where Jesus healed the lame man. Follow the Passion of Jesus through the Via Dolorosa to the Church of Holy Sepulcher housing Golgotha and the newly renovated Resurrection Chapel. Walk to the Southern Steps that Jesus and his disciples used to walk into the Temple. Spend a brief time in prayer at the Western (Wailing) Wall.

Day 9 - Explore Abu Ghosh, the traditional site of Emmaus where Jesus made himself known "in the breaking of the bread" following his resurrection. Then to Caesarea Maritima, the port city where Paul was imprisoned and from where he and Peter were sent to Rome. Finally to Joppa, the port city where Peter had his vision to take the Gospel to the Gentiles and from which Jonah tried to flee from the Lord instead of preaching to the Ninevites. There we will have a celebration meal, then off to the airport.

Day 10 - Return home.
